CULTURE IN PRACTICE
TRADITION IS A LIVING PRACTICE.
My cultural work is grounded in the belief that traditions remain meaningful when people can experience them—not only as history, but through sound, movement, conversation, education and collective participation.
Dominican folkloric traditions are an important part of that practice, while the larger work explores the connections between heritage, identity, migration, African and Caribbean cultural memory, and the ways communities preserve and transform their traditions.

Enjambre Folclórico brings Dominican traditional music into performances, educational settings and public cultural experiences—connecting rhythm, history and community through live practice.
The work is part performance and part cultural transmission: keeping traditional forms present while creating opportunities for audiences to experience them directly.
